- 1In a slow cooker, mix 2 lbs of stew meat, 1 cup chopped onion, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of cream of onion soup, 1 jar of sliced mushrooms drained, and pepper to taste.2
- Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until beef is very tender.
- 3Stir an 8 ounce package of cream cheese (cut into cubes) into beef mixture until melted. Stir 8 ounces of sour cream into beef mixture. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Chicken stew with dumplins
- 1Place 3 lbs. of boneless/skinless chicken, small round red potatoes, 3/4 cup chopped onion and 2 cups of baby carrots in 6-quart slow cooker. Add 2 32 ounce cartons of chicken broth and a can of cream of chicken soup. Mix together.
- 2Cover and cook on low heat setting 9 to 10 hours.
- 3Increase heat setting to high. Stir together 2 cups of Bisquick mix and 1/2 cup milk in medium bowl. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto hot chicken mixture. Cover and cook 45 to 50 minutes or until dumplings are dry in center.
Tender Pork Roast and Potatoes

- 1In small bowl, mix Italian seasoning, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Pat seasoning mixture evenly onto pork (if pork comes in netting or is tied, do not remove). Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork in skillet 5 to 10 minutes, turning several times, until brown on all sides.
- 2Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, place small red potatoes (do not peal or cut) and several garlic gloves peeled and cut in half; pour 1 and 1/2 cups water over vegetables. Place pork on vegetables. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 to 10 hours or until pork is tender.
- 3Remove pork from slow cooker; place on cutting board (remove netting or strings). Cut pork across grain into slices; serve with vegetables and juices.
